Privacy and Policy
The law protects the relationship between a Client and Psychotherapist. The information shared within the
therapeutic relationship cannot be disclosed without written permission of the client. However there are a few legal exceptions to client confidentiality.
These exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which Rorer Psychotherapy and Consulting Services is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

If a Client is threating serious bodily harm to another person/s, Rorer Psychotherapy and Consulting Services must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

If a Client intends to harm himself or herself, Rorer Psychotherapy and Consulting Services will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If a Client does not wish to cooperate, Rorer Psychotherapy and Consulting Services will take further measures provided to us by law in order to ensure their safety.
